MD-1000 Hepa Air Scrubber

Energy Recover Ventilators (ERVs)

An ERV can improve both ventilation and energy efficiency in one unit. An ERV uses balanced ventilation to draw fresh air in from outside, run it through an energy exchange process, then mix it into the room again. It continually mixes in fresh air while exhausting spent air—all while using heat exchange to maximize efficiency.

We at Building IAQ custom-designed this system specifically for classrooms. We looked at the average size of classrooms and the air exchange we want to see for ideal air quality. There wasn’t a product out there that would provide the results required, so we worked with manufactures to design our own.
